Chris Burnett
EVP Permitting & Compliance
Mr. Burnett has over twenty years of experience in the energy industry, with a proven track record in leadership, strategic planning, regulatory navigation, and M&A.
He serves as President and CEO of Verde Park Resources LLC and as Chairman of the Board of WOTAC Security Services, companies he co-founded to provide critical services to energy ventures and established operators.
Before founding Verde Park, Chris held senior leadership roles at Howard Energy and NuStar Energy, overseeing regulatory affairs, capital project permitting, international trade, M&A, corporate security, and public affairs across domestic and global operations.
He holds a B.S. from Texas A&M–Corpus Christi and an M.S. from Florida Institute of Technology.
